What does the Paid Content / Members Login do?
The Membership Login allows the business owner to restrict access to all or part of the website. This feature can be used to require viewers to register for an account in order to see certain parts of the website. In our example on the left, the Free membership allows you to access a hidden page and forum. Any pages, posts, or documents can be flagged to "Require Membership".
Paid Content/ Members Logins are perfect for:
- Creating an employees only section for quick access to online resources
- Charging a subscription for valuable content that you provide.
- It's perfect for any business that wants to limit access to their expertise for a small fee, such as consultants, vlog or video bloggers, or even organizations.
What are Membership Levels?
Membership levels are different subscription packages that the business owner can create. Levels can be set up to best fit your business, whether they are Free, Paid, or Recurring Subscriptions (Annual, Monthly, Weekly, Daily). You can even offer Custom Trial Periods (Free Trial, Custom-length Trial, 'Introductory' Pricing).
Do I need an eCommerce Platform to charge for Memberships?
No! The feature can be configures to work with any of the existing payment gateways below to process payments:
- Pay by Check
- Stripe
- PayPal Express
- PayPal Website Payments Pro
- PayPal Payflow Pro/PayPal Pro
- PayPal Standard
- Braintree Payments
- 2Checkout
- CyberSource
Can I charge recurring billing like monthly, quarterly, or yearly subscriptions?
Yes. The ranges for the subscriptions are very fleixble and we can accommodate any schedule that is consistent.
Can pages be limited to just one user, for example to store customer records for each customer to view with a login?
No. The feature is best used where each Level of membership has a pre-set group of pages or content assigned to it. It does not support individual users/customers having unique pages to access.
